Puerto Morelos

Its modern history begins towards the end of the 19th century, in 1898 when the Compañía Colonizadora de la Costa Oriental de Yucatán was founded, due to the need to find an outlet to the sea to export its products, (dye stick, gum, vanilla, tobacco, cedar and cork) being the chewing gum the most exported product. Today Puerto Morelos is a town where tourists can relax and enjoy its beautiful beaches and do all kinds of water activities.
